Lumby’s 1946 CJ-2A: 2 ½ years and 900 hours later

23 08 2009

It was purchased in 2006 from a man in Colorado. The Jeep spent its whole life on a ranch (it was an early farm Jeep). The original color was Pasture green with Autumn yellow wheels. According to Dale Lumby the body wasn’t too rusty, but it was beat to death. The floor of the bed was pounded down at least 3”. The jeep is back in Ohio where it was originally built ready for another 63 years.
